#MFNWCares week spotlighting our partner Northwest Pilot Project

Multifamily NW is thrilled to kick of #MFNWCares week by spotlighting our partner Northwest Pilot Project!

Their mission is to offer opportunities for a life of dignity and hope to very low-income seniors in Multnomah County by solving housing and transportation needs. Since 1969, NW Pilot Project has helped connect low-income and very low-income seniors (55 and over) who are capable of independent living, with rental housing that is safe, permanent and affordable to them. They don’t own or manage housing, instead, they concentrate their resources for the critical role of professional and experienced case managers for those they serve, and leverage their 50 years of relationships with landlords, property managers, and community development partners to secure housing for those who are most vulnerable. Every year they help stabilize the housing of about 600 seniors.

NW Pilot Project's immediate needs for their clients are: Hand Soap, Dish Soap, Bath Soap, Laundry detergent (pods), Disinfectant Supplies and Toilet Paper.

They have an amazon wish list that lists our needs, click on the following link:  https://smile.amazon.com/…/2CTXX1Q7F…/ref=smi_ext_lnk_lcl_cl Note: Because the offices are closed, donation arrangements can be made by contacting Lindsey at lindseyl@nwpilotproject.org.

The NW Pilot Project website has more information for donations: https://www.nwpilotproject.org/donate-items/.

With the COVID-19 pandemic closing offices and cancelling events, it brings new challenges to Oregon's critical nonprofit services infrastructure. As Multifamily NW's annual charity events have been forced to pivot from tradition this year, we wanted to highlight, make some noise and raise donations for our charity partners! Beginning Monday, May 18th, all week we're showcasing a different partner charity! #MFNWCares
