Oregon Portal for Rental Assistance will Close on Monday, March 14th at 11:59pm

Oregon Housing and Community Services (OHCS) is closing the Oregon Emergency Rental Assistance Program (OERAP) next Monday March 14th at 11:59pm.

As of Monday, March 7th, the Oregon Emergency Rental Assistance Program (OERAP) program has paid more than 289.6 million in emergency rental assistance to more than 40,000 Oregon households whose housing was impacted by the pandemic. As a result of the demand and limited remaining funding, OHCS will close the application portal to new applications on Monday, March 14 at 11:59pm. 

Please encourage any tenants in need of assistance to apply for OERAP right away before March 14 at 11:59pm at oregonrentalassistance.org. Also, follow the link for Outreach Resources that includes print flyers for your apartment communities, downloads of paper applications to share, as well as social media templates use - all in multiple languages.  As a reminder, local program administrators can help renters with their application. Landlords in need of assistance requiring a current tenant application should call the landlord call center at: 844-378-2931.
