City Of Portland AI Ordinance - What to know
Join us to better understand this new City of Portland ordinance
Event Details
In November 2025, the Portland City Council voted to adopt a new ordinance prohibiting housing providers from using artificial intelligence (AI) tools to help set competitive rent prices—commonly referred to as “market rent.”
Join us as Multifamily NW welcomes our strategic partner, Andor Law LLP, for a clear and practical breakdown of this new regulation. This session will translate the ordinance into plain, understandable language, explaining what is prohibited, what practices may still be permitted, and how housing providers can adjust their pricing processes to remain compliant.
Attendees will gain actionable guidance they can implement immediately to help ensure their properties align with the new requirements, reduce risk, and avoid costly compliance issues.
