Event Details

In this engaging and thought-provoking session, participants will examine common supervisory behaviors that can unintentionally damage trust, communication, accountability, and employee engagement. Through self-reflection, discussion, and practical application, supervisors will gain a better understanding of how their actions, communication style, and leadership approach impact the employee experience.

Together we will explore:

  • Common behaviors and habits that contribute to ineffective supervision
  • The concept of "cultural neglect" and how good leaders can unintentionally create negative employee experiences
  • The role communication plays in building trust and accountability
  • Practical strategies for setting expectations, providing feedback, and addressing concerns early
  • How self-awareness supports stronger leadership decisions
  • Techniques for motivating employees and creating a more positive workplace culture
  • Tools supervisors can immediately apply back on the job
  • Participants will leave with greater awareness of their leadership impact, practical ideas for improvement, and specific actions they can take to become more effective supervisors.
  • Because employees may judge us by our intentions—but they experience us through our behaviors.
