Event Details

Mold and mildew are common issues in multifamily housing that can lead to property damage, resident complaints, health concerns, and liability risks if not properly addressed. This course provides property management professionals with a comprehensive understanding of how mold and mildew develop, how to identify early warning signs, and how to implement effective prevention and response strategies.

Participants will learn about moisture control best practices, inspection techniques, documentation protocols, and safe remediation procedures. The class also covers communication strategies with residents, regulatory considerations, and risk management approaches to help protect both the property and its occupants.

By the end of this session, attendees will be equipped with practical tools and actionable steps to minimize mold-related issues, respond appropriately to reported concerns, and maintain healthier living environments.
