2020 Wildfire Resources and Information

Multifamily NW salutes firefighters, first responders and volunteers racing to save lives and protect the livelihoods of the thousands of Oregonians and Washingtonians affected by the sudden dangerous wildfires spreading across our region. Properties with Disaster Preparedness plans can stumble in the chaos trying to follow procedures when a Level 3 Evacuate Now order is issued. Right now, housing providers can remind their residents where their emergency evacuation points are, and to register for Emergency Texts with their County to make sure they receive the latest alerts. Encourage your residents to have a "to-go" bag packed to help ensure a swift evacuation if necessary.
The Multifamily NW Foundation Board is supporting the following three organizations for immediate donations to assist those in need:
Donations and/or volunteer opportunities are welcome, needed and appreciated! If your properties have been affected by the fires, please contact Multifamily NW for additional resources.
Multifamily NW Service Committee is diligently working with the above organizations and will continue to update the members. Interested in volunteering with the Service Committee? Contact Lisa Rose at lisar@jrjohnson.com.
