Managing resident relationships is one of the most challenging aspects of rental housing operations. In this session Melissa Miller, Coordinator of the Clackamas County Landlord-Tenant Mediation Program, provided an informative session focused on practical conflict resolution strategies that will help housing providers navigate difficult conversations and strengthen resident relationships. She is joined by local experts who shared valuable landlord resources available throughout Clackamas County.  

This session explores common sources of conflict between landlords and tenants, proven techniques for addressing disagreements, and how mediation can help resolve disputes before they escalate. Attendees learned about rental assistance programs available to support housing stability and discovered free legal research and educational resources offered through the new Clackamas County Law Library.
