Professional Bio
Jessie Dhillon is Vice President of Carla Properties, Ltd. She oversees the operation of 2,166 multi-family housing units. In her role as VP, she manages a staff of seventy (70) people and assets of over $550,000,000. Jessie leads the Property Management Team, company Safety Committee, Policies & Procedures Committee and the corporate operations. She is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Oregon. She became a co-owner of Carla Properties, Ltd. in 2015.
Jessie is an active member in the Multifamily NW and serves as Treasurer and is a member of the Government Affairs Committee and the Political Act Committee. She advocates landlord and property owner rights and fair spending of taxpayer dollars. She gives vital input to local public policy makers by offering testimony at City Council and County Commissioner meetings. She is quick to offer her business insight to local, state, and federal politicians on tough social and housing issues.
Jessie served with distinction in the US Army as a Power Generator Equipment Repair Technician. She began her business career working as an office manager for a small business, then a bookkeeper for a construction firm & wholesale lumber dealer. Volunteer work includes a three-year service as Secretary and Treasurer of the Market Street Condominium Association Board of Directors.
Outside of work, Jessie enjoys spending time with her two daughters, and their Yorkie. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cycling, golfing, and harnessing the power of Excel for personal projects. She earned an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management in 2013 and previously completed undergraduate degrees in management, accounting, and business administration.
