This class will provide an overview of the revised Equal Pay Act and its application to Oregon employers, along with discussion of the relatively new paid sick leave laws. In relation to the Equal Pay Act, we’ll address a few areas of employer exposure and practical steps employers should implement to reduce the viability of unwarranted claims. With regard to Paid Sick Leave, we’ll address the three types of paid sick leave plans an employer may choose along with the most common compliance errors.
