Hiring people is not easy, especially in this market. You finally found that “perfect” person to join your team, your work is NOT done! The process of transitioning your new employee to a productive member of the team is known as “Onboarding”.

Onboarding is much more than merely that initial “orientation”, it is the process of taking new hires and integrating them into the organization. The process should be formalized and focused on providing all new employees a better roadmap toward success.

According to a 2019 Gallup survey, only “12% of employees say their organization does a great job of onboarding”.

  • Why do so few organizations perform this critical function poorly?
  • What have you witnessed personally and professionally in the way that new employee onboarding has been done with success…and perhaps less successfully?
  • How do we ensure our organization’s onboarding experience has employees enthused by their decision to join the organization and not regretting it?
  • Are there elements that successful onboarding experiences have in common?

Are there some issues that you have seen? Do you have any pearls of wisdom for your cohorts? The facilitator will be bringing some “best practices” while seeking the input of the real professionals – you! Questions in advance are of benefit to everyone, the facilitator will build in content with your dilemmas and debacles in mind.

Come to this Multifamily NW Webinar session to gain some insights and have the opportunity to field some of your own “Onboarding” situations for guidance from each other as well as from our HR Answers webinar facilitator. Sending your “special” situations in advance of the meeting (EWilson@HRAnswers.com) is encouraged to allow those elements to be included in the webinar session.
