Multifamily NW Welcomes: Tia Politi
Tia Politi brings a wealth of experience, passion, and practical knowledge to the world of rental housing. A longtime rental property owner and former licensed property manager (2009–2022), Tia has worked across private, public, and assisted housing sectors, gaining deep insight into the challenges and rewards of property management.
Tia serves as President of both the Oregon Rental Housing Association (ORHA) and the Rental Owners Association of Lane County. She also chairs the ORHA Forms Committee and represents multiple local associations as a Landlord Helpline expert, offering guidance to rental owners throughout Oregon. Her commitment to education is evident in her roles as a certified continuing education provider and volunteer instructor for St. Vincent de Paul’s Second Chance Renters Program. In 2020, she was honored as a Housing Hero by the organization for her efforts.
As an instructor and author of Landlord Bootcamp and Renting a Home—a course designed to teach high school seniors the rights, risks, and responsibilities of tenancy—Tia brings her message to a broad audience. She's also a columnist for Mind Your Business and has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in property management.
A proud University of Oregon graduate (B.S., Journalism, 1987 – Go Ducks!), Tia is a trusted voice and dedicated advocate for rental housing education across the state.
