Webinar: HR Answers - Managing Remotely
Multifamily NW Welcomes: Eric Wilson, HR Answers (C#0034)
Managing is a tough job in the best of circumstances and with the added layer of “remote” workers it is no less challenging. The issues are felt not only by the employer but by the employee too. From SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) research in 2021 noted, “…supervisors expressing a preference for onsite staffing and remote workers expressing reservations about losing opportunities for networking and logging more hours…” Some of the findings included:
- 67% of supervisors say they spend more time supervising remote workers than onsite workers.
- 42% of supervisors say they sometimes forget about remote workers when assigning tasks.
Are there some issues that you have seen? Do you have any pearls of wisdom for your cohorts identified during these remote-working times? The facilitator will be bringing some “best practices” while seeking the input of the real professionals – you! Questions in advance are of benefit to everyone, the facilitator will build in content with your dilemmas and debacles in mind.
Come to this Multifamily NW Webinar session to gain some insights and have to opportunity to field some of your own “Distant Workforce Debacles” for guidance from each other as well as from our HR Answers webinar facilitator. Sending your “special” situations in advance of the meeting (EWilson@HRAnswers.com) is encouraged to allow those elements to be included in the webinar session.
You can send us a note in advance for your question or ask at the time of the meeting. What HR issue are you struggling with, we’ll help you with an answer? If you are looking for ways to work on an HR related project or you want to confirm your knowledge.... then join us. Come and ask your questions and let us help you!
