Event Details

Organization and time management are not hereditary, they must be learned and practiced in order to be efficient at them. This is one of the most important courses that any maintenance employee can take since time is their most precious asset. This course covers how-to techniques for organizing the day, work order completions, the shop area and having a plan of action for maximum efficiency. We will discuss and explain specific systems for setting up daily operations, and tips and tricks that will directly lead to saving time. The entire focus of this course is to generate blocks of free time within the day, week, and month to focus on all those items that get missed due to “not having enough time”

Zach Howell, BEAR Consulting

Zach Howell is Principal at B.E.A.R Consulting Services, and is a nationally certified Uniform Physical Conditions Standards Inspector, LEED certified, and Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT), carrying more than a decade of experience within the multifamily housing, development, and construction industries. He is also a valued advocate for the Apartment Maintenance trade. He currently serves as Subject Matter Expert for the National Apartment Association, Training Director for the Apartment Maintenance Institute, and is a Community Education Faculty Member at Portland Community College. In addition, he trains and consults locally with Multifamily NW, AHMA, RHA, and NARPM, and is the Chair of the NW Maintenance Coalition.
