Cash for Keys Agreements: Negotiating Win-Win Resolutions to Pandemic Debt
The ongoing Eviction Moratorium has created unforeseen challenges for housing providers needing to gain possession back of their properties, for a variety of reasons. This month we’ll discuss the art of cash for keys negotiations, and the pros and cons of securing a mutually beneficial agreement to end a tenancy, outside of the parameters of the existing Rental Agreement.

Anna McCormack, Warren Allen, LLP
Anna S. McCormack joined Warren Allen LLP in 2003. Ms. McCormack attained a B.A. summa cum laude from the University of Cincinnati, and earned her J.D. cum laude from the Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College.
Ms. McCormack’s civil litigation practice emphasizes landlords’ rights, real property and business disputes, bankruptcy, consumer law and employment law. She has appeared in state, tribal, and municipal courts, as well as administrative and appellate proceedings. Ms. McCormack is committed to making the legal process understandable to her clients, and to finding practical and creative alternatives to litigation when possible.
