Step Onto the National Stage: Represent Multifamily NW at NAA

There are moments in your career when you’re invited to step a little bigger. To share your voice beyond your organization, your market, even your state. This is one of those moments.

The National Apartment Association (NAA) and NAA Education Institute (NAAEI) are currently accepting applications for Regional Vice Presidents and NAAEI Regional Representatives. This is a powerful opportunity for Multifamily NW members to show up on the national stage and represent our region.

Why This Matters

Multifamily NW has built a strong, respected voice in the industry. From advocacy wins to education and workforce development, what we’re doing here in Oregon and Southwest Washington matters and deserves a seat at the national table.

When our members step into national leadership roles, a few important things happen:

• Our region’s challenges and perspectives are better represented
• We influence the direction of national policy, education, and strategy
• We strengthen relationships that directly benefit our members back home

Simply put, when you lead nationally, you bring value back locally.

Who Should Consider Applying

If you’re currently serving in a senior-level role as an owner, developer, builder, or operator, and you’ve been actively involved with NAA, NAAEI, or Multifamily NW, this could be a great next step.

• Have demonstrated commitment through volunteer leadership

What to Expect

Regional elections will take place during the NAA regional meeting at Apartmentalize on June 17, 2026. Those elected will serve a two-year term from January 1, 2027 through December 31, 2028.

This is meaningful, high-impact work. You will contribute to strategic initiatives, help guide industry priorities, and collaborate with leaders from across the country.

Don’t Wait

If you’ve ever thought about getting more involved at the national level, this is a clear and accessible pathway to do it.

Candidates wishing to run for an RVP position should submit an application via the approved electronic format no later than April 30, 2026. Applications received via any alternative method or after the deadline will not be considered.
