The Multifamily NW Apartment Report is Evolving

Big News! While the Apartment Report Survey is evolving, the Fall 2026 Apartment Report Luncheon will take place as scheduled on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at the Oregon Convention Center.

After 20+ years of the Association surveying members twice a year, we are embarking on new strategies to offer more robust housing data via CoStar that accompany the Apartment Report’s valuable content and resources. We won't be asking members next month for the regular survey. Beginning in 2027, we’ll offer more than just rent and vacancy figures, we’ll debut an updated biannual survey to share more operational data and information you can’t get anywhere else.

When the Apartment Report started back in 2004, there was no other reliable resource for industry information. Now the amount of data available is more accessible and varied than we could have imagined. Partnering with CoStar whose data is continuously being collected from public advertisements, offers the market insights the Apartment Report is known for while allowing the report to expand efforts to collect and provide even more relevant operational information.

Multifamily NW will be leading member opportunities later this Summer and Fall to weigh in on which new questions will be featured in the new Apartment Report Survey beginning in 2027. We’re very excited to start this new era for the Apartment Report and appreciate member involvement to ensure the Report continues to be the go-to resource for the industry and increasing its value for Association membership.
