Q: Tell us about your company’s journey and core values.
Lauren: While BELFOR is global, our story here is personal. Our local Portland team has supported this region through winter storms, wildfires, and major property losses for over two decades. Our values—Responsibility, Loyalty, Integrity, Leadership, and Excellence—guide us in every project. We’re proud to be the team people trust in tough times.

Q: Why is supporting Multifamily NW important to BELFOR?
Lauren: MFNW aligns with everything we believe in: education, preparedness, and community. The association creates space for meaningful conversations about safety and resilience—and gives its members the tools to lead. We’re proud to contribute to that mission, while staying close to the issues and needs of the industry we serve.

Q: Can you share a success story that highlights BELFOR’s strengths?
Lauren: During the January 2024 freeze, our Portland team responded to a tremendous volume of multifamily restoration projects across Oregon and SW Washington. We mobilized quickly, brought in national support, and worked closely with our contracted partners to stabilize and restore properties - without sacrificing communication, compliance, or care for residents.

Q: What’s next for BELFOR?
Lauren: We’re focused on growing our local team and continuing to expand our services across the region. That includes opening new offices, investing in top-tier talent, and deepening our capacity to serve communities at scale. We’re excited about the momentum we’re building—and the impact we can make by doing things the right way.

Q: What advice do you have for someone wanting to get involved with MFNW?
Lauren: Jump in! My first experience with BELFOR started at an MFNW event—and I’ve been involved ever since. The community is welcoming, knowledgeable, and eager to support new connections. Whether you’re new or experienced, joining a committee or attending an event is the best way to grow your network and make a real difference.
