Vendor Contracts
Multifamily NW Welcomes: Andy Hahs, Bittner & Hahs, P.C.
Event Details
Property managers often represent the owner in contracting with third-parties to provide services to a property. These contracts range from a simple plumbing repair to major renovation/repair projects like roofs, exterior painting and unit renovations. Often, the vendor will provide a simple purchase order or pre-printed contract, with “standard terms” for you to sign. This executive level class will explore which contract provisions should be included or avoided to best protect you and the owner. When things go wrong, the contract is vital to insuring the project gets completed and/or the owner has recourse for any damages. This class will give you the tools to read, understand and negotiate a contract that is in the best interests of you and the owner.
